Are your
thoughts plagued with
negativity, unhappiness, hopelessness or confusion?
Is your life
slipping away due to the emptiness you feel and/or sadness that comes
from depressed thoughts?
I have been personally
coping with depression in different forms and
have
witnessed the debilitating effects that depression has had in my own
life. I have also experienced the effects of depression, as
someone "on the outside", watching family members deal with the
confusing and life stopping results of depression. It's a wacky
roller coaster ride of emotions, and the more that these depressed
thoughts aren't dealt with the more damage they do to you and the
people around you.
I've had the feeling of getting deeper and deeper in my depressed mood
and feeling that there was no reason to life and, for whatever reason,
I just seemed to keep messing things up in my life - I just couldn't
get it together - it would be better to just not be living
anymore. I had never got to the point of planning a suicide, but
I can totally relate to people who have gotten so lost in their soul
that death doesn't really seem all that bad. I can see how it
would seem like an abstract, self-help way to get rid of depression
forever.
And that's exactly what I want to help people with - getting rid of
depression forever and living a life full of aspirations, hope,
happiness, and an undautable joy that can only be fostered it the
spirit.
You must find your
own way to strength, happiness and positive
thought. Other people can only provide tools and opportunities to
alter your conditions, then by your own efforts, you can change your
life. You have that empowering nature and it's up to you to
investigate all the tools and opportunities available to live the life
you were meant to live!
Below are a variety of links to resources that will help you in dealing
with depression without
medication. Some are free and some are
available at a cost. Try out different things to help you create
an uplifting and inspiring life - not everything will work for you that
has worked for someone else, but with matters that effect our thoughts,
we never really know what works best until we actually try it.
My advise for you is to NEVER GIVE UP
finding peace of mind!
I
had many thoughts of giving up myself. I thought I'd never have
control of my thoughts, but I kept on reading, learning and nurturing
my spiritual self - and I haven't stopped! I have been
depression-free since early 2009 and it isn't because life miraculously
got any better on the outside. I've just changed the way I react
to the world around me and have learned, and consistently used, several
positive thinking exercises to control my thoughts.
